Y-Strainers are mechanical filtration devices designed to remove solid particles such as rust, dirt, and scale from liquid or gas pipelines. Their Y-shaped configuration makes them ideal for use in oil & gas, chemical processing, HVAC, and general industrial applications. Y Strainer Protects pumps, valves, and meters by removing solid contaminants from the flow.

According to NFPA, Pumps (Fire) shall be equipped with a removable and cleanable suction strainer installed at least 10 pipe diameters from the pump suction inlet. We offer both Flanged & Grooved (Model: SD-YS300FF-D) Y Strainer of SHIELD. which are  Available in cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, or plastic for compatibility with different media. Designed for simple inspection and cleaning to maintain system efficiency.
